RONGO HONEY

蜜蜂が一生をかけて集めてくれた蜂蜜。

それは、およそスプーン一杯分に相当するものだと言われています。

花から花、蜜から蜜へと飛び回る蜜蜂たちによって集められた花蜜は、巣箱の中で濃縮されて沢山の栄養素を蓄えた蜂蜜へと変容していきます。

自然の生態系、またその循環によって生み出される蜂蜜は、私達のライフスタイルをより自然に近い形へと導いてくれます。

遥か昔から先人たちは、身の回りにある草花や樹皮などを使って身体や精神の不調を治癒していましたが、今も尚、私たちの生活にその智慧と恩恵は受け継がれています。

RONGO はニュージーランド先住民マオリ族の言葉で平和という意味であり、また、農業を司る神様の名前とも言われています。

RONGO HONEY は、これまで大切に守られてきた素晴らしい自然の営みがこれからも失われることなく残ってほしいと願っています。

It is said that the honey bee over its whole life collects the equivalent of one spoonful of honey. The nectar collected by the honey bee, flying from flower to flower, is concentrated in the hive and transformed into a nutrient rich honey.

The honey produced by this natural ecosystem cycle allows our lifestyle to become closer to nature. Long ago, our ancestors cured disorders of the body and spirit by using what nature provided such as the flowers and various barks around us. Such things were sacred and indispensable for life. This wisdom has been passed down through the generations ensuring that we get these great benefits in our daily lives today.

"RONGO" means "PEACE" by the MAORI, the indigenous people of New Zealand. "RONGO" is also said to be the God of Agriculture. We hope the natural ecosystem that has been protected
